Analytics Lead-Business Analytics Description: In partnership with one of the core customer teams, an opportunity primed for a dynamic IT Analytics professional, data manager who is a high-performer with 3 years of experience in IT/data management with a focus on business analytics. Partner collaboratively with team in identifying, developing, applying and supporting business tools and capabilities to be used as a competitive advantage in accelerating company growth. 6 month contract/project opening with possiblity of extension. Knowledge of PowerBI or ShilohNEXT anaytics highly desired. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Ownership of local teams capability and solutions toolkit to deliver deeper, more actionable insights more quickly. Improve the efficiency of gathering insights as well as the overall quality of insights. Accelerate company’s Advanced Analytics platforms. Deploy solutions by coaching/training and embedding technology throughout the team. Lead business efforts to expand concept of retailer data to include loyalty, syndicated, and other relevant sources; activate initiatives for company growth. Responsibilities Include: 85% Lead the functional maintenance and process management of all existing solutions. o Production (20%) Ensure existing system availability and accuracy Diagnose functional issues to a root cause and resolve together with partner technical resources as needed. o Development and Implementation (65%) Develop a strategic solutions plan that will deliver new analytic capabilities and technologies to drive decision making with the customer. Lead technology projects through to completion by developing and managing resources and timelines. Develop design diagrams, testing/debugging and systems configuration. Oversee and support the initial implementation and ongoing troubleshooting for new solutions. Creation and management of ongoing reporting solutions in support of Walmart region analytics needs (PowerBI, ShilohNEXT, etc) Manage and oversee training and support for existing tools 15% Internal and External Coordination o Identify, document and share best practices for technical solutions across NPP teams. o Develop and maintain relationships with internal Nestl resources to stay aligned with overall IT Strategy. o Identify and evaluate (in conjunction with IT) current, evolving and yet undeveloped technologies that will provide a competitive advantage for company.
