RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in search of an Application System Engineer 6 in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC). Essential Functions: Acts in the highest-level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process Develops original and/or highly complex code and provides coding guidance to less experienced staff REQUIREMENTS: 10 years of application development and implementation experience 7 years of application development experience 7 years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience with Ab Initio products such as EME, Control Center, Metadata Hub, or Conduct IT 7 years of Ab Initio experience 5 years of Linux experience 3 years of data warehouse experience 3 years of SQL experience 3 years of Oracle experience Desired Qualifications: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Big Data experience Autosys experience Knowledge and understanding of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Financial Service Data Foundation (FSDF) Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
