Position Title: Application Systems ProgrammerPosition Number: 356451Location: Renton, WA 98057Position Type: TemporaryRequired Skill Set:Ambulatory, Analysis, Design, EPIC, Problem ManagementPosition Description:Only U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. can be considered as W2 candidates.Title: Application Systems ProgrammerDuration: 6 Months PlusLocation: Renton, WADescription – External Work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and Epic build activities. Formulate and define system scope and objectives on small to mid-size projects. Devise or modify processes to solve problems, considering computer application structure, technical capacity and desired result. Prepare detailed specifications will be written or modified, and design, build, test, debug and document those changes/enhancements. Provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts as needed.Essential Responsibilities: – Performs analysis, design/build, testing, documenting, implementing and maintenance tasks for complex requests and project impacts. Participates on project teams with business users and other analyst/programmers. Assists in problem definition and resolution activities. May develop solution outlines. May be responsible for creating and monitoring project plans and schedules on small to mid-size projects. Troubleshoots and resolves production problems as needed. Documents and communicates problem resolution to team members. Completes assignments in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains and reports status on assigned tasks on a regular basis. Performs related duties as assigned or requested. Assists in training other analysts and may review their work. – Interacts with customers to define, clarify and interpret system requirements for complex applications enhancements and projects. Responsible for implementing system development projects and work requests.Qualifications – External Basic Qualifications: Experience – Minimum five (5) years of experience using and maintaining applications software. Education – Bachelor’s degree OR a minimum four (4) years of experience in a directly related field. – High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. License, Certification, Registration – N/AAdditional Requirements:- Epic Ambulatory or Willow Ambulatory Certification- Previous experience building, troubleshooting, testing SmartForms, Smart Data Elements, Reporting Workbench, Ambulatory documentation tools including Notewriter, Flowsheets, and registries preferred.- Previous Pharmacy background preferred, but not required- Logic and analytical ability.- Communication, organizational, interpersonal and project management skillsBenefits:For information and details on employment benefits offered, visit here.
