Evanston, Illinois, Department: Kellogg Digital Salary/Grade: EXS/9 Job Summary: The primary role of the Associate Director of Digital Marketing is to support the growth and evolution of digital initiatives and innovation across Kellogg. This role is responsible for all aspects of digital advertising (search, display, paid social, programmatic, direct digital media), organic social media strategy and execution, and SEO. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in digital marketing, measurement & reporting, and enterprise MarTech tools. Success in this role starts with attracting prospective students to Kelloggs degree programs; profitable growth of digital advertising; collaboration with Kellogg Admissions, agencies, and publishers; and socializing performance against growth goals to senior leaders at Kellogg. This role reports to the Senior Director, Digital Strategy. Position requires occasional evening and weekend work. Occasional travel, both domestic and international, may be required. This position is presently hybrid (two days per week in Evanston and the others remote). This remote working arrangement will be evaluated on a regular basis and may be changed based on business and operational needs. Specific Responsibilities : Advise and support digital marketing strategy utilizing paid, owned and earned media channels, and SEO. Define channel strategy across paid and social media. Implement the strategy via campaigns and projects to build the Kellogg brand and reputation in support of the recruitment of students. Manage and evolve key business partnerships (agency and technical) and internal stakeholders (Brand Marketing, Comms, Admissions) to align marketing efforts to business goals. Evolve SEO maturity of the Kellogg website and staff. Manage the execution of SEO projects (with SEO partner) based on priorities and business needs. Measure SEO performance in terms of breadth and depth of targeted key-phrases. Supervise staff of 1-2 and work output for select agencies, publishers, and partners. Lead cross-functional teams and agencies to develop marketing assets and content across a range of media including print, digital, social and events. Analyze and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and tactics and provide recommendations for optimizations. Miscellaneous Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of relevant industry and/or functional experience (digital marketing, social media, SEO, and measurement/reporting) Demonstrated ability to create compelling and effective marketing communications content that engages target audiences. Demonstrated experience managing marketing communications projects in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
