About the Job: The primary role of the Marketing Manager, Executive Education, is to support the Managing Director, Marketing in the development and execution of digital marketing and communications plans and projects targeted to Kellogg Exec Ed’s prospective students. This position has two primary goals. First, they are responsible for identifying and engaging prospective Exec Ed participants with targeted digital advertising (search, display, paid social) in order to convert unknown prospects into identified leads. The second goal is to lead the Exec Ed team’s marketing strategy and collaborative processes with partners who market and deliver our growing portfolio of online programs; the shared objective between Exec Ed and our partners is to increase overall enrollment in online programs. Specific Responsibilities : Develops strategies and executes marketing and communications plans primarily for paid digital channels including paid search, display advertising, paid social and LinkedIn. Collaborate with Managing Director and peers to define overall marketing strategies to sustain engagement and drive enrollment across open enrollment and online portfolios. Manages the marketing relationships and execution of key business partners and stakeholders including a digital marketing agency and online program partners (OPM’s) to align marketing efforts to business goals. Leads cross-functional teams and agencies to develop marketing assets and content across a range of media Analyzes and reports on the effectiveness of campaigns and tactics and provide recommendations for optimizations Leads and executes key strategic analyses including market research and competitive benchmarking Minimum Qualifications: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of relevant industry and/or functional experience (digital/social media, marketing, communications). Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.) Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of relevant industry and/or functional experience (digital/social media, marketing, communications). Excellent strategic and analytical skills. Strong ability to collaborate across departments and functions; proven relationship builder. Able to work under deadline pressure and adjust priorities independently to meet changing business needs in an entrepreneurial environment. Experience managing and/or executing across various digital marketing channels including paid search, display advertising, paid social and LinkedIn Preferred Qualifications: Experience with marketing for higher education or other student-based institutions Marketing-related experience in CRM-oriented businesses Expertise developing and managing digital media plans; experience working closely with digital marketing agencies to develop and execute strategy. Preferred Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities) Proficient in working with tools/data related to digital campaign management including LinkedIn, Google Adwords, and Facebook.
