Within CIMA, the Consumer Insight team focuses on leveraging best practices in consumer and Guest feedback to improve experiences for all who choose Disney as a vacation destination.The Business Systems Specialist must possess a passion for data, systems and innovation. He/she will play a critical role in leveraging systems supporting internal partnerships to drive decision-making throughout the organization. The person must be comfortable working with partner teams, conducting both planned and ad hoc requests and efforts successfully through the Consumer Insight Data Services. The candidate must also ensure focus on data quality by following processes and continually innovate against the process and tools used to do this work.Responsibilities : This role is in support of an operational area and requires a minimum of 3 days of availability each week; including early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability.Assist with processing of paper Disney Cruise Line (DCL) Guest Satisfaction Measurement (GSM) survey forms.Accurately and efficiently order and prepare blank paper survey forms and coordinate regular pick up/delivery to DCL ships.Responsible for processing, weighting and delivery of survey data sets to Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.Provides support in delivery of data sets to all research clients.Evaluates user needs, defines technical problems, and works with leadership/technical programming staff to determine solutions.Assists clients in data mining solutions.Provides support for defining quality assurance reporting system requirements, process improvements, efficiency and innovation.Job requires flexibility to changing priorities and the ability to embrace technology changes.Basic Qualifications : ExperienceKnowledge of Market Research ProcessProficiency in statistical mathematic reportingExperience with numerical dataMinimum 2 years of experience in Statistical role or equivalentSkillsMinimum two years of data processing experience or equivalentPrevious experience in an analytical department is highly preferredExcellent problem solving/analytical skills and attention to detail is requiredDemonstrated knowledge of statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, etc.)Demonstrated knowledge of Data Visualization tools such as TableauHighly developed computer knowledge skills including Microsoft Office-based applications, Excel macros, relational databases, Boolean logic, and familiarity with object oriented programmingAbility to work independently and complete assignments as a member of a team, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and patience for serving customersMust be able to learn new tools and technologies as neededRequired Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience [...]
