This position manages the Digital Contentteam and advises and informs other members of the Communications and MarketingDepartment, ITS, and UTHSC campus on issues surrounding digital communicationsstrategies, tactics, and policies that assist UTHSC in meeting key marketingand communications goals. DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES : Serves as the primary lead for conceptualizing, creating, implementing, maintaining, and coordinating all digital content for the UTHSC website and social media channels. Supervises and guides the Digital Content team in the Communications and Marketing Department. Provides guidance to Digital Content team and campus communications and marketing coordinators or any faculty or staff assigned within each college and other UTHSC departments to manage digital content. Directs and develops effective and efficient processes for gathering, creating, evaluating, and publishing digital content that supports UTHSC’s mission. Develops and maintains a university-wide culture that encourages faculty and staff to take an active and ongoing role in content generation, content publishing, and maintenance of content that is published to the UTHSC web site and official social media channels; in coordination with Digital Content team. Collaborates with the UTHSC DevOps team to support and continuously improve the overall UTHSC web presence. Performs other related duties as assigned.
