Naperville, Illinois, Are you looking for an opportunity to utilize your digital media marketing skills? The Illinois Health and Hospital Association (IHA) is seeking a Digital Marketing Content Manager responsible for supporting the IHA and the Corporate Communications and Marketing Department.
The role is responsible for monitoring and curating content for IHA’s digital assets, including websites and social media platforms. In addition, this role will contribute as a writer, editor, and proofreader for IHA’s various digital and print communication vehicles, including IHA’s for-profit business subsidiaries, member education, quality improvement initiatives, and the Illinois Poison Center.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in communications, journalism, advertising, marketing or related field or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to fulfill the duties of the position. A minimum of three years digital content management experience with a command of content management best practices, required. Familiarity with HTML, Google analytics, marketing automation, search engine optimization, and user design experience, preferred. Versatile writer with the ability to write social media content and web copy, press releases, news stories, as well as digital ad copy and brochure copy. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in healthcare, hospitals, associations, government relations or the news media. Natural ability to work collaboratively, with strong interpersonal skills. Experience meeting tight deadlines, and demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
Candidate must also be able to comply with last-minute time constraints and deadlines on a continuous basis. Weekly presence in an IHA office is required.
