We are searching for a highly-skilled and action-oriented Merchant Services Website Lead/Digital Marketing Consultant 5.  Reporting to the incoming Merchant Services Digital Marketing Leader, this senior role in the Merchant Services Digital & Acquisition Enablement organization will lead digital marketing initiatives with a focus on the Wells Fargo public site and other ‘on us’ digital assets, including the proposed ‘Matchmaker’ small business digital needs assessment.  The consultant will work with Experience Design and small business colleagues to evaluate the current site, redesign the site’s information hierarchy, and ultimately deliver a cohesive and compelling customer experience from ‘research’ through ‘shop’ to ‘apply.’  This experience will support customers who start their journey on the public site at the small business segment level as well as those who start their journey on Merchant Services-specific pages, perhaps driven by search or other digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have previously delivered business outcomes through enhancements to the digital customer experience.  The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and experience working with third-party agencies; a flexible, team-oriented approach; experience working with digital execution/development resources; and the resiliency to drive successful project execution in a complex/matrixed work environment.  Experience with a small business target audience is preferable. Key areas of work include: Developing a compelling journey for Wells Fargo website visitors, in collaboration with Experience Design and small business colleagues Developing and implementing Merchant Services public site page design, page content, and accompanying assets (banners, etc.) Representing the Merchant Services business on the small business Matchmaker public site needs assessment project, leading Merchant Services content development for Matchmaker, and aligning Merchant Services-specific pages with Matchmaker content/design Building alignment across digital customer needs assessments, sales-assisted customer needs assessments, and product positioning/value propositions (in collaboration with the Merchant Services product & product marketing organizations) Ultimately increasing the conversion of Wells Fargo public site visitors into new Merchant Services accountholders Preferred locations are in Wells Fargo hubs including Charlotte, Concord, Minneapolis, Phoenix, and San Francisco.  The position includes a 5-10% travel requirement in a typical (non-Covid) environment.
