We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing team. The Opportunity: The USC Auxiliary Services Marketing team is seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about digital marketing to join their team as Digital Marketing Manager. The Digital Marketing Manager will define the digital brand marketing strategy and go-to-market plan to drive incremental traffic, sales, and customer acquisition goals for the Auxiliary Services business units. This position will oversee the development and management of full-funnel acquisition marketing strategy across relevant channels (website, search, remarketing, content, display, affiliate, social). The person in this role will also determine marketing plans, budgets, targeting, timing, and other elements of digital campaign planning. In addition, they will partner with CRM, UX, ecommerce, content, and design teams to generate best-in-class digital campaigns and experiences. The ideal candidate has end-to-end experience across strategy, operations, activations, and analytics. The Accountabilities: Design, manage, and scale digital customer acquisition programs including SEO/SEM, paid and earned social media, retargeting, affiliate, display ad networks, etc. Plan, implement and manage end-to-end performance marketing strategy. Determine marketing KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CPM, CTR, etc.). Develop rolling 12-month marketing calendar and go-to-market execution. Manage digital marketing operations including campaign execution, weekly campaign priorities, optimization, best practices, A/B creative/copy testing, landing page testing, performance analysis, reporting and insights/recommendations Function as subject matter expert on customer journey, identify any gaps and makes recommendations; maintain optimum path to purchase via continuous testing Plan and execute all SEO/SEM initiatives, including site audits, keyword analysis, competitive analysis, campaign structuring, on-site code implementation and optimization, local listing development, and link building Define long-term vision for affiliate partnerships; measure, track, and enhance success Craft paid/organic social strategy (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, emerging platforms) to drive new customers, including key product releases, promotions, and lifestyle marketing Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies Educate business units on impact of digital media spend Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 5 years of direct-to-consumer web marketing, performance strategy, or growth marketing experience within an agency or brand environment. Minimum field of Expertise: Experience in large-scale website SEO; experience partnering with designers on implementing great SEO alongside excellent UX/UI is preferred. Must have Google Analytics Certification. Strong analytics with intermediate Excel knowledge (pivot tables, etc.). Expert knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends). Proven understanding of how to plan, develop, execute and optimize paid digital campaigns within large ad networks such as Facebook and Google suite. Detailed oriented: but can also see the forest from the trees, balancing the intricacies of SEO with strategic company objectives. Ability to establish and analyze KPI’s including traffic, conversion, and AOV, and the ability to offer well-presented insights based on findings. Familiarity with third-party CPC, CPL, and CPM platforms and networks. Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels. Extensive expertise in affiliate networks or SaaS platforms (ShareASale, Commission Junction, etc.), strong analytical skills for optimizing, and experience developing strong relationships with affiliates and networks. Familiarity with remarketing/audience creation platforms like LiveRamp, Google Analytics, DMPs, and CDPs, with knowledge on various forms of digital tracking. Effective communicator, and ability to translate data into conversational terms and break down complex digital language into easy-to-understand details.
