WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Global Digital Marketing Manager, Electrophysiology you will play a key role in working with the different marketing and business teams within Abbott’s Electrophysiology division to turn our business strategies into executable digital strategies. Specifically, you will be responsible for upfront strategic planning including content strategy and execution to effectively translate business objectives into customer-focused solutions that demonstrate meaningful and tangible results. In addition, you will use analytics and insights to optimize our digital channels, including web, social media, email, paid search, display, etc. You’ll drive and execute these strategies and optimize digital experiences Manage relationships with internal business partners across the globe. This role is the face of the Digital team to the broader Electrophysiology business. Manage the Analytics Specialist Collaborate the Analytics Specialists and marketing partners to translate business goals into digital KPIs. Create digital strategies based on overarching business and marketing strategies. Lead an overarching content strategy and governance model. Develop and execute specific content and tactics. Work with the corporate team for the creation, approval, delivery and governance of content across earned, owned, paid and social media for a variety of digital tactics, including emails, landing pages, websites, social networks, mobile, paid search, etc. Create and maintain editorial calendars, style guides, taxonomies, metadata frameworks and content migration plans. Maintain a deep understanding of customer journeys and user needs to apply content and UX strategy according to business goals and objectives. Manage the progress of projects coordinating activities among stakeholders and tracking completion of tasks to full execution of each project. Use analytics, insights and best practices to optimize user experience, digital strategies, content and tactics across all digital channels including SEO and SEM. Adhere to Digital Marketing policies including Web Content Review and Approval, Removal, and Governance policies. Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent. 10+ years of experience in a digital domain – with strong digital marketing experience. 5+ years creating and executing digital strategies/content dev for web, paid, social, and email within med device/healthcare. 3+ years of experience working with content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager preferred) and experience working with technical team members (i.e. business analysts, IT and developers) to execute web projects. 3+ years of experience executing analytics projects or working in close collaboration with an analytics team (knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Tableau preferred). Requires deep practical knowledge of these tools, concepts and methodologies within a regulated industry, preferably Medical Device or related healthcare sector. Strong writing, proofing and editing skills within the digitally focused environment including the ability to create shareable content. Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at one time. Flawless attention to detail; highly organized. Possess thorough understanding of the digital space as it relates to: principles of digital customer experience/UX design, management of digital assets including taxonomy, meta data; social media; paid search and SEO best practices. Exceptional oral and written communication skills; captivating presenter and great listener. Experience influencing and educating stakeholders on digital best practices and insights. High comfort level leading brainstorms and ideation and filling up whiteboards. Combination of right and left-brain thinking that challenges the status quo.
