PA, The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining key marketing and communications channels with the focus on supporting the College of Business graduate enrollment. The Digital Marketing Specialist will partner closely with the Graduate Program Recruiters to execute a marketing strategy for effectively generating prospect leads to our graduate programs. The Lehigh community takes seriously our commitment to antiracism and The Principles of our Equitable Community . 1. Digital Marketing *Develop, improve and maintain audience-aware digital outreach tactics in support of the Graduate Programs Office’s (GPO) marketing and recruitment strategy *Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan for the Graduate Programs of the College of Business (CB) *Execute a marketing strategy for effectively targeting prospective applicants to our graduate programs *Manage, coordinate and continuously improve digital advertising (google, LinkedIn, etc.) to drive prospective students *Ensure timely follow up to all inquiries/leads acquired through web and social outreach *Assess and manage the use of Web tools to develop leads, such as Halda, etc. *Develop and refresh email marketing content and approach (pardot) *Manage relationships with third party marketing firms *Work with external marketing agencies in promoting Lehigh CB graduate programs *Create a template and content for quarterly e-newsletter updates for internal and external audiences *Play a key role in advancement efforts; write yearly solicitation letters to constituents *Design and create content for recruiting materials *Work with the CB Graduate Program Directors to determine needs; develop marketing plan for programs 2. Social Media Management *Grow the graduate programs’ social media presence and visibility with key constituent audiences *Distill news and research articles, videos and other content into clear, properly formatted social media posts with relevant hashtags and mentions to drive engagement *Use basic graphic design/photo editing skills (Canva or similar tools) to create dynamic and visual social media posts *Review and edit communication from CB Graduate Programs Office *Write and produce high-quality editorial and video/multimedia content *Keep current with best practices across various platforms and social communities (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) and the emergence of new platforms *Manage and provide content for the social media presence representing Lehigh CB graduate programs *Work with international Graduate Research Assistants to better understand international social media platforms and reach those audiences 3. Web support *Ensure high quality user experience across the graduate programs’ web environment *Manage graduate programs’ web content creation, updates and activities *Create and maintain web pages, graphics and/or multimedia projects utilizing various technology applications and software *Create content, including video and photo content for graduate web pages *Optimize CB graduate websites for organic search 4. Special events  *Plan, organize and coordinate various large and small-scale events to create networking opportunities for current graduate business students and alumni *Provide digital support for GPO’s events *Champion Alumni Engagement Events for current student networking and GPO Fundraising Grade: 8-40 Position Number: S73490 Special Considerations The duties of this position may allow the employee to work partially remote as deemed appropriate by their supervisor  Occasional evening, holiday or weekend hours to attend MBA events Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or the equivalent combination of education and experience One to three years related work experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Will be creative with proven skills and experience in digital/social outreach and Web support Must be detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism in the digital environment Experience with Drupal (CMS) and Salesforce preferred Demonstrated competency in digital/social channels, including Google, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook; familiarity in secondary and emerging platforms (TikTok, Reddit, Discord) Solid computer skills with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software  Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position All Lehigh faculty and staff are required to be fully vaccinated and receive a booster shot six months after their second vaccine; unless they receive an approved medical or religious exemption from the requirement.
