Department Public Affairs – Marketing Job Summary The Marketing & Public Relations Strategist II (Digital Marketing) position develops, monitors and improves Denver Health digital marketing and advertising campaigns that communicate the mission and business objectives of the hospital system. Under minimal supervision, this position executes on strategies to create digital campaigns for marketing channels, such as online search and display networks (Google AdWords, Google Display, other Ad Exchanges), retargeting/remarketing, and social advertising via Facebook Business Manager – utilizing analytics, call tracking software and Denver Health’s website platform (Sitecore). This position helps build weekly and monthly analytics reports that track campaign progress and ROI success. This position updates and refines pay-per-click (PPC) ad campaigns, oversees waste removal and weekly client campaign updates and refinements, and supports online dashboard development for the purpose of analyzing campaigns/marketing trends. In addition, this position is responsible for developing SEO strategy and execution of SEO strategy for the DenverHealth.org website, DH.org department webpages and affiliated Denver Health web properties – monitoring keyword usage, strategizing voice search and optimization to improve organic page ranking. Essential Functions : Create and oversee digital marketing and advertising campaigns (Google AdWords, pay per click, Ad Exchanges, retargeting, paid social media, etc.). Ensures strong results while continuing to make recommendations on optimization and performance. (20%) Measure and optimize paid marketing and advertising campaigns using dashboards, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager and marketing analytics reports where applicable. (20%) Create and maintain metrics reports on weekly and/or monthly basis to track trends and report successes. Review data and analysis from executed campaigns, and make recommendations as needed to achieve ROI/KPIs. (20%) Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep Denver Health ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying. Reviews new avenues of digital marketing and new opportunities to improve marketing reach. (20%) Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing work on website DenverHealth.org as it pertains to digital advertising campaigns. (10%) Setup call tracking and UTM tracking at a granular level. (10%) Education : Bachelor’s Degree required. Work Experience : Minimum five years’ experience in digital marketing and/or communications required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Solid understanding of digital advertising, performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition. Ability to work cooperatively in an integrated team environment. Excellent organizational abilities. Self-starter who works well under general supervision in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. Deadline driven. Ability to juggle multiple projects while staying extremely organized Successful candidates must have up to date familiarity and experience of digital marketing, social media and creative marketing technology platforms. These technology apps and platforms may include but not be limited to the following: Google Marketing Platform (Google Analytics, Google AdWords, etc.), web content management system (E.g. Sitecore, WordPress or similar), SEO tools (Moz, Conductor or similar), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc), social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc) and social ad management software (Facebook Business Manager, YouTube advertising), reputation management and monitoring software (Google Business, etc), marketing analytics and visualization software (Domo or similar), project management and workflow software (Trello or similar), and other multichannel digital advertising platforms (capable of the planning, buying, execution and analysis of campaigns).
