UC’s annual budget tops $1.65 billion and its endowment totals $1.8 billion. Job Overview Provide support for digital marketing and communication initiatives, including content and measurement. Responsible for developing and managing digital marketing strategies and campaigns, and the Center website and award database. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Essential Functions Develop and manage a digital marketing and communication strategy to meet the Center’s goals within the College of Arts and Sciences and at the university. Work closely with Taft staff to identify and support the marketing of the Center’s event programming and website. Create and produce a monthly e-newsletter, with the assistance of a Taft graduate assistant. Create and maintain social media content, with the assistance of a Taft graduate assistant. Pursue leads, conduct interviews, and perform research to write articles, features, and stories for digital content. Assist with other storytelling and promotional efforts. Manage the marketing and communications calendar. Monitor audience engagement and analytics. Participate in A&S IT strategic networking to achieve the Center’s objectives. Create and update digital marketing reports. Manage and assess the Center’s analytics, utilizing and reporting data to provide guidance for marketing and communication initiatives. Work with the college’s marketing and communications team to help maintain internal and external websites and optimize content and experience for performance. Work closely with university’s technical support team to ensure accessibility, functionality, and performance of the Center’s digital platforms. Coordinate with other offices at UC to optimize the Center’s presence and output at the university level. Provide regular updates and ad hoc reporting as required. Provide ongoing support for the Center’s website. Perform related duties based on the Center’s need. This job description can be changed at any time. Required Education Bachelor’s Degree Five (5) years of relevant work experience in lieu of education requirement Required Experience One (1) year of relevant work experience. Additional Qualifications Considered Demonstrated strong communication and marketing skills. Project management skills. Knowledge of CMS (Sitefinity or similar), Email Marketing Systems (Constant Contact or similar) and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite platforms. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong time management skills. Excellent multitasking skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge and experience with humanities and qualitative social science scholarship and/or programming. Public humanities knowledge and experience.
