DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGIST , Resource Development (RD)-Design and Marketing Team , to create, implement, and evaluate marketing assets for digital media channels that support engagement, fundraising, and stewardship. Will serve as a forward-thinking advocate for effective digital marketing utilizing digital technology/channels such as web, mobile, social media, and email; work with RD and MIT colleagues to develop digital content that demonstrates the impact of donor support, effectively markets RD events, and enables frontline fundraisers to maximize philanthropic investment in MIT. Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor’s degree; five years’ professional digital marketing experience; relevant experience in communications, digital marketing, or related field; experience with project management, including contributing to plans and timelines and adhering to review processes; strong marketing communications skills, an understanding of how marketing goals are accomplished, and the ability to implement digital marketing campaigns while utilizing best practices, email marketing tools, and virtual event platforms; attention to detail; willingness and ability to learn how to use new/unfamiliar digital marketing platforms; proficiency editing HTML and using web content management systems; and discretion with confidential/sensitive materials/issues. Must be able independently prioritize and handle a large volume of work and concurrent projects, including initiating requests appearing with little notice; collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals; understand and convey MIT’s mission and priorities to effectively develop and implement marketing strategies; write and proofread short text; and work effectively under pressure. PREFERRED : ability to perform basic edits to video files; familiarity with Acoustic; and experience with Cvent, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro), G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and other collaborative tools (Basecamp, Slack); and experience pulling and analyzing communications and marketing analytics.
