As a Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) DT Program Services Optimization Lead , you will collaborate and partner with a diverse cross-section of Digital Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Program Leadership partners, in support of the largest and most complex RMD product line, the Sensor Product Line.Reporting to the DT Program Services Department Manager for the Sustainment & Sensors Mission Area, the Program Services Optimization Lead will responsible for the strategic modernization, standardization, and process alignment across the Sensor Product Line DT infrastructure environment. The Optimization Lead will partner across RTX functions to develop product line strategic roadmaps, service strategies, and drive new technology insertion to accelerate digital transformation and gain a competitive business advantage.They will develop opportunities for investment and provide understanding of the financial portfolio to lead solutions that drive down cost and streamline operations across the Sensor Product Line. They will create and execute an overarching strategy that supports business growth objectives and the incorporation of modern, agile, cloud based technologies and DevSecOps practices into the product line DT infrastructure environment.This role will include responsibilities that include the following: Serve as the full lifecycle DT Optimization Lead for a large product line WAN environment that stretches 6 Mission Areas, 35 Unified Lab Connections across 16 Distributed Sites Nationwide Leverage Scaled Agile and DevSecOps practices in order to manage daily priorities and ensure alignment with engineering innovation and program execution requirements Create and execute an overarching strategy for DT service delivery, which supports business growth objectives and the incorporation of modern, cloud based and digital technologies into the DT infrastructure environment. Partner closely with Program Services Section Management, DT Program Lead(s), System Administrators, Network Engineers and Engineering Solutions to ensure flawless DT Service Delivery Partner across various RMD functions/organizations and external vendors to design modernized approaches to infrastructure services Ensure the creation and execution of the technical and service roadmaps related to the product line environment, which will integrate into the overall RMD DT Digital Transformation Strategy Oversee the definition and deployment of common service management best practices, processes, and tooling that create a standardized approach to managing, monitoring, and reporting on DT infrastructure environment Lead through influence a matrixed team to maintain systems, transforming to new platforms, ensuring the security of the environment through compliance efforts, and modernizing and growing the infrastructure capabilities to enable greater economies of scale, while improving business continuity and agility. Partner and collaborate with solution architects to infuse new technologies and architecture building blocks into the information systems and increase the use of standardized solutions Leverage and develop strong relationships with external vendors, functional partners, RTX Enterprise IT, and sister RTX businesses to support the delivery of technical services and best practices in the product line environment. Partner with a team of 3-4 Program Services Optimization Leads to establish and continually improve service management best practices across RMD DT Program Execution Support change and configuration control best practices and lead the process implementation and tracking for the Sensor Product Line Develop and maintain strong partner relationships across the 600 user product line environment, advocating for their needsJob Location: This role covers a nation-wide network that stretches across 16 distributed sites. While the data center is located in Marlborough, MA, this role can be performed remotely (Telecommuting) working with a product line leadership team based on the East Coast (Eastern Time Zone). Business travel will be required for mission critical meetings/briefings.An Interim US DoD Secret Clearance is required for this role, except in rare cases, only US Citizens are eligible to obtain clearances. Candidate offer is contingent upon the ability to receive an Interim US DoD Secret Clearance.Required Skills: Minimum of 10 years professional experience leading teams as a service owner, architect, technical lead/manager, project or program manager Experience deploying new capabilities in classified information and communication systems, including the modernization of legacy environments Strong knowledge and understanding of ITIL Service Management Frameworks, to include tools and deployment methodologies Ability to obtain ITILv4 Foundations Certification within 6 months of hire Strong technical understanding of Servers (Windows, Unix, Linux), Storage, Virtualization / Cloud technologies, and networking systems Strong understanding of Scaled Agile Management and DevSecOps practices Working knowledge of best practices in Cybersecurity Superior written and oral communication skills; ability to clearly articulate ideas, process steps, and technical data in written, graphical, and spoken dialogue Experience supporting capture/proposal efforts, including authoring responsibilities Strong program/project management experience (minimum of 4 years professional experience) Experience with Jira (Scaled Agile), Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a business case for investment to senior management and executive audiences Offer is contingent upon candidates ability to obtain an interim US DoD Secret Clearance.Desired Skills: Experience designing and/or deploying service support models that incorporate cloud solutions, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions in hybrid cloud environments Current ITILv3 Service Management certification with ability to complete ITILv4 certification Proven success working within a large multi-disciplined team matrix Strong understanding of fundamental networking/distributed computing environment Experience working with enterprise class wide area networks Knowledge of Active Directory and group policy management Knowledge of virtual computing technologies Working knowledge of zero client technologies operating within virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environment Scripting / programming experience Curiosity, problem solving, desire to learn new skills Innovative and strategic thinkerRequired Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other STEM field of study.176809Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
