You will develop a robust technical architecture strategy that supports fully integrated solutions in a regulated environment. Acting as an internal consultant to the business, the ideal candidate will provide solutions that are strategic to enterprise technical standards as well as business needs. Utilizing in-depth knowledge of infrastructure, application development and software development methodologies, you will develop buy-in to the strategy and monitor execution toward target architecture, while improving standards and governance processes. The Cyber Security Architect is responsible for delivering architecture intent to the cyber organization and enterprise stakeholders. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to securely achieve requirements of business initiatives. The Cyber Security Architect is a technical authority on information security architecture across the enterprise. Job Responsibilities Establish strategic security architecture direction for assigned subject matter domain, including standards and frameworks that are aligned with overall business strategy Work closely with Security Engineering, Divisional Information Security Officers, Security Product Managers, Enterprise Architecture, and infrastructure architecture and engineering teams Stay current with emerging technology evolution and corresponding security concerns . Identify security architecture capabilities and design security architecture patterns & solutions to mitigate potential threats Develop architecture roadmaps for delivering a set of new capabilities where several dependencies need to be managed Assess emerging technologies against security architecture to determine where they fill gaps, overlap with existing solutions or extend capabilities Serve as information security subject matter expert; provide advisory and consulting services as needed Review existing and proposed architectures, identify security design gaps, and recommend changes or enhancements Participate in solution architecture design; lead security efforts assisting with the integration and initial implementation of solutions Implement technical proof of concepts that demonstrate how an architecture or design would be realized and prove out key technical concepts Achieve security architecture compliance on requirements, including: Sarbanes-Oxley, payment card industry standards, HIPAA, data privacy requirements, as well as state and federal regulations Coach and mentor junior architects and engineers Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree At least 7 years of technical solution architecture experience At least 7 years of technology engineering experience At least 2 years experience with responsibility for securing containers, container orchestration platforms, or serverless technologies At least 2 years experience integrating security controls with DevOps processes Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree CISSP or SANS Certifications Cloud computing certification 3 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud security services 3 years experience designing and implementing enterprise grade security solutions based on open source projects
