HollyFrontier Corporation is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist in our Dallas, TX office. The IT Procurement Specialist will be focusing on two distinct areas. Half of the role consists of stakeholder management for procurement systems such as Ariba, PowerAdvocate and Concur. This section of the role includes but not limited to the following: training, problem resolution, and interface with stakeholders as well as become a procurement lead on upgrades, latest technology and trends. The IT Procurement Specialist will assist with development and implementation and use of current and future source-to-pay technologies and support IT resources during integrations with corporate systems; provides guidance and support to all sites for procurement systems; primary interface from procurement to IT and procurement to external suppliers. The IT Procurement Specialist will assist with the analysis of new systems, performs user acceptance testing (UAT), and may lead supplier enablement. They will also monitor system performance, end-user activities, data integrity and interfaces to other systems with IT to resolve problems. The second half of the role for the IT Procurement Specialist is assisting with the overflow of contract work within IT Procurement group. The contract work will consist of conducting routine, non-routine and one-time procurement assignments under limited supervision within a framework of acceptable controls which satisfy governmental and company accounting requirements. This position is not eligible for International Relocation Program benefits. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES : (functions considered essential as defined by ADA) Works with procurement and the business to ensure and create needed workflow in procurement systems. Assists with UAT testing new procurement technologies and recommendations upgrades and improvements to existing technologies including areas where data accuracy and efficiency can be improved. Provides recommendations in defining, building and testing of integrations with procurement systems. Serves as primary point-of-contact for end-users for system support and ticket resolution. Enters incident tickets, provides issue details (if known) and assists IT with troubleshooting issues in procurement modules and interfaces. Assists IT in conducting root cause analysis of reoccurring issues. Develops and maintains system procedures and policies. Trains new users on procurement systems; provides supplemental training development and classroom delivery to the end users. Assists IT with procurement system implementations and enhancement projects as assigned by Manager including test scenarios and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Manages system administration duties (e.g. configuration, user provisioning) and provide business requirements. Liaises with IT and Internal Audit on system security audits and validation. Identifies data integrity issues through regular auditing and analyzes data flows for process improvement opportunities. Maintains high level of quality, accuracy and usability of data and related interfaces. Gathers requirements and coordination of user acceptance testing, and assists IT with implementation of enhancements, system fixes, interfaces, and conversions. Communicates to the IT Business Partners new requests for enhancements, in collaboration with IT and third party vendors, and ensures the requests and system changes are consistent with procurement strategies, are optimal business and system practices, as well as use the appropriate technology available. Communicates strategic and business process roadmap and requirements to IT Business Partners to ensure alignment with overall IT and Procurement roadmap. Communicates requests to IT for the development of ad-hoc reports and queries. Liaises with IT on system maintenance and troubleshooting including interface functionality and enhancements. Liaises with Treasury to administer the corporate PCard program and maintain user records. Assists with on-going maintenance of a variety of procurement content on the Company intranet. May lead procurement e-catalog and supplier enablement programs. Develops and monitors KPIs to ensure system usage and vendor response time. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five years’ related experience and experience with procurement-related systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Coupa, Zycus, Concur, and/or etc.) is required. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Two years of procurement/ purchasing experience in the oil and gas industry. EDUCATION: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Programming, Supply Chain Management, Business, or other related discipline, or equivalent number of years’ experience in lieu of a degree, is required. REQUIRED SKILLS: Ability to influence stakeholders across a multi-site environment. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task complex requirements. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Strong analytical skills. Good spreadsheet, database and word processing applications knowledge; the ability to effectively communicate with all levels; advanced reading and writing skills; excellent negotiating, interpersonal, time-management and organizational skills; ability to learn quickly; versatile; ability to effectively lead, coach and direct the work of other associates; ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. WORK CONDITIONS: Office-based with travel up to 20% of time by land and air.
