Responsible for digital product delivery to the business. Guide the digital team and work to address roadblocks throughout the entire product delivery lifecycle such as inspection, delivery and transition to support and stay in tune with the relevance of the product and modify as needed. Work with business SMEs and product owners to understand the target markets and build profiles. Share proposed technical solution to the business and ensure alignment of the solution with business needs. Work with SMEs, business product owner and Digital Strategy to develop project roadmaps. Assess and adjust project milestones and iterations together with the business, consider resource skills, resource capacity, priority of requirements, business targets, shifts in personas and needs and feedback loop. Work with Digital Strategy to confirm if technical solution aligns with Mercer’s vision and goals and communicate new or reused MercerOS services that will be a part of the product. Work with digital leaders in managing and tracking project finances and costs. Ensure alignment of goals, timeline and strategy of the project by working with other digital leaders. Work with vendors on resource management, forecast, training and onboarding of resources. Ensure that business SME resources are appropriately working with BAs to flesh out detailed requirements. Build product roadmaps to align with business milestones for projects including business input and work related to security and compliance requirements from MMC/Mercer. Responsible for maintenance requirements, concurrent technology initiatives and digital transformation of products to meet current company branding requirements. Work with BA to confirm whether detailed requirements align with the needs for the personas including clarifications, escalation point, overall view, planning of new stories, de-scoping and SME resourcing. Work with TE to ensure that all in-scope testings are completed to standards. Provide input, feedback and recommendations to help in establishing and improving the Digital Portfolio Delivery team processes and standards. Work with QA to ensure product quality control including clarifications, escalation point, overall view, planning of fixes to bugs or new issues, as well as new stories including ensuring the STO process is initiated with O&S and is completed for product go-live. Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as a Senior Business Consultant, Technical Lead, Software Programmer, Programmer Analyst or a related position. Must have seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the information technology industry with: Program management; CICD development; development languages including UX/UI best practices; QA; and Agile projects in an onshore /offshore resource model. Must have three (3) years of experience with Agile, including Scrum or Kanban Master; collecting business budget needs to determine estimates from Concept to Concrete Plan and documenting them in MS excel; Product strategic planning to create Product roadmap, short term and long term goals and Enterprise Financial Planning; Reporting on project health metrics, risks, and mitigation plans using JIRA and MS Power point; working with cross functional teams for project planning to inform and build governance on processes to mitigate risks; engaging in daily scrum calls during implementation; communicating updates to teams using deployment/downtime strategy; and product management.
