An essential role within the marketing team, this role will optimize lead generation campaigns across product sectors to increase revenue and conversion rates. Creates and manages digital ad campaigns designed to create awareness and generate sales of ASSP products, events and membership. Evaluates and selects the most viable digital advertising platform(s) for various ASSP individual products.

We are headquartered in Park Ridge, Illinois.  POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include but are not limited to:

Creates marketing automation/nurture campaigns, including split testing, landing page/form strategic direction, lead nurturing and scoring, dynamic content, data hygiene and end-to-end execution of e-mail-driven campaigns from helping to manage the organization’s email calendar to template design, e-mail testing and deployment.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including the IT and web development team, on testing, troubleshooting, feedback and optimization.
Analyzes and modifies campaign performance to optimize results and maximize traffic, revenue and leads. Generates reporting with an emphasis on return on investment and actionable metrics.
Manages and implements day-to-day online paid advertising campaigns including ad creation, ad/landing page testing, targeting, remarketing list curation and quality assurance.

Collaborates with interdepartmental campaign owners on project scoping, requirements, budgets and expectations.
Serves as backup for creating, testing and scheduling of e-mails through e-mail delivery platform. Provides quality assurance/quality control of e-mails before deployment.
Serves as additional internal backup for social media community interactions/management.


Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, with emphasis on marketing automation
Two years of direct experience with e-mail marketing execution.
Proven marketing automation skills/knowledge of marketing automation best practices
Demonstrated experience with marketing automation platform (such as Real Magnet/Higher Logic/Informz or comparable)
Strong working knowledge of the following preferred:

Google Ads – search, display, Gmail and YouTube advertising
Paid Social Media – Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter
Google Analytics
Google Tag Manager
LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Bing Ads

Outstanding analytical skills with emphasis on return on ad spend.
Strong working knowledge of targeting and remarketing practices and testing and tracking practices.
Knowledge of social media monitoring systems (e.g., Sprout)
Ability to plan for and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, including budgets.
Experience writing ad copy and creating ad imagery. Experience with Photoshop, Canva, Abobe XD, SEO preferred.
Knowledge of customer journey concepts and practices.
Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills with effective listening skills. Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
