Sydney, Australia, The Digital Sales Team is on the lookout for an energetic, results driven Marketing Manager to drive Citi-branded credit cards, personal loan and buy now, pay later (BNPL) acquisition, specialising in aggregator and affiliate management. To be successful in this role, the candidate needs to have hands on experience in building and driving business outcomes whilst able to adapt and pivot to strategic changes. This is a unique opportunity for a proficient affiliate marketer to develop boarder marketing skills and gain exposure across the business challenges. The candidate must have a strong controls and risk management mindset with an appreciation that your role is critical in ensuring compliance of Citi’s banking code obligations with our external partners. Your challenge is threefold: Campaign Management: Drive the aggregator and affiliate strategy negotiating with external partners to deliver campaigns for Citibranded credit cards, personal loans and BNPL products Lead the user experience from click on the affiliate website to through to application submitted. Strategise how to use Citi web properties for affiliate campaigns to ensure a seamless customer experience and strong conversion rates Accountable for initiatives and developing marketing assets to help drive incremental account volume across Citibranded credit cards, personal loans and BNPL product, including but not limited to new offer launches, new partnership launches, digital media, and awareness campaigns Lead the execution for campaign rollouts for responsible initiatives, engaging with partners and colleagues to execute as required Campaign Execution: Execution of the aggregator and affiliate offer rollout and campaign management of bespoke communication assets Develop and optimise, in collaboration with Product teams, the customer value propositions, key messages and creative concepts as part of the Go-To-Market strategy Engage creative and media agencies and collaborate with in-house marketing specialists to stand up a best practice website and execute your full-funnel acquisition marketing strategy, including but not limited to digital and 1:1 data-driven communications Create engaging and effective marketing campaigns targeting new applicants with execution through all available touchpoints Reporting: Run the external partners reporting on applications and accounts and share within agreed timeframes Proactively share campaign success metrics, insights, and future enhancements on all active campaigns Develop automated reporting for initiative management to report on success metrics including clicks, conversion rates, approvals rates, applications, and accounts About you: Bachelor degree in Marketing Commerce or related discipline Minimum 4 years in Marketing Strong background in affiliate marketing with relationship management and strong negotiation skills Proficiency in Excel and data insight mining You’ve got a proven track record of quickly establishing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a diverse array of individuals, and are comfortable being challenged and holding others to account You’re accustomed to working to tight deadlines, but also comfortable when priorities shift Thrives in a fast paced, innovative, collaborative, and commercial environment Please note that Citi has entered into an agreement with NAB to acquire its consumer bank in Australia which includes residential mortgages, deposits, and unsecured lending. The sale is expected to complete in March 2022. As this is a role to work in Citi’s consumer bank, the successful candidate will initially be employed by Citi, but on sale completion, their employment will transfer to a NAB (or) a new entity that will employ Citi’s consumer bank employees, prior to their transfer to NAB.
