, Scope of Position The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Centers Digital Strategy team is responsible for the medical centers digital communications channels, which include the medical center and James consumer-facing sites, the College of Medicines site, cross-platform native mobile apps and several other web, mobile, email and social channels. The Marketing Technology Analyst is a product owner for automation software utilized by the Digital Strategy team and provides support for other technologies impacting our digital marketing initiatives. Position Summary The Marketing Technology Analyst serves as the product owner for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud automation platform and provides expertise to define and implement programs and initiatives that successfully build profitable, long-term customer relationships across all channels. This person is responsible for the oversight and day-to-day management of the current systems in use, including troubleshooting, analysis, configuration and maintenance. He/she adheres to standard practices to ensure availability, security, and compliance of managed systems. He/she may provide technical assistance and customer support, creating reports, performing data analysis and correcting issues, and vendor relationship management. Responsible for the long term strategy and enhancements of these systems to meet the departments strategic marketing needs. He/she works closely with colleagues in IT, planning, agencies and patient access to support any implementation and stays abreast of market trends and the latest technology. This person will assist with analytics to provide campaign learnings and insights to the team, provide documentation and serve as quality assurance analyst as necessary. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree with at least 3 years of relevant system management/analyst experience. Experience with marketing automation platforms and Google Analytics. Proven track record in database growth as well as marketing. Strong knowledge of database fundamentals and database management best practices. Analytical skills are essential; SQL knowledge is a plus. Ability to work creatively and collaboratively with Marketing, IT and business stakeholders to effectively implement, optimize and leverage system solutions to meet business needs.
