Washington, D.C., The Coalition for Government Procurement is looking for a Program and Digital Marketing Coordinator
 
For more than 40 years, the Coalition for Government Procurement (“the Coalition”) has brought together public and private sector procurement leaders to work towards the mutual goal of common-sense acquisition. The Coalition is a non-profit trade association of government contractors that offer the latest services and products from the commercial market to Federal agencies. We are unique in the broad scope of industries that we represent—from IT, professional services, and security-related firms to pharmaceuticals and healthcare products.
 
The Coalition is seeking a details-oriented team member to serve as a Program and Digital Marketing Coordinator to support the association’s operations and increase its brand visibility and membership value.
 
The position reports directly to the President of the Coalition. Job responsibilities include:
 
A.  Coordinating the Coalition’s Digital Marketing activities

Gathers content for and publishes weekly newsletter
Edits website with new content for members and coordinates with third party vendor on design elements and features as appropriate
Creates content for event advertisements with subject matter experts and third-party marketing vendor
Runs analytics reports on website, Member Portal, email marketing and social media campaigns and develops strategies to increase membership engagement and value
Leads Coalition social media activities (Twitter and LinkedIn)
Coordinates Excellence in Partnership Awards marketing, submissions and serves as primary contact for awardees at awards event

 
B.  Supporting Coalition Conferences and Training

Prepares correspondence to government speakers (pre and post event)
Supports Marketing Vice President with on-site setup, registration and other events support
Coordinates CLE Accreditation for Training Courses

 
C.  Providing Administrative support

Maintains President’s and other office calendars
Prepares slide presentations, policy letters and other correspondence
Schedules meetings, distributes member announcements and coordinates meeting logistics with internal and external stakeholders
Assists with research and outreach
Provides IT support for virtual meetings

 
D.  Supporting Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Become internal expert and “gate keeper” of CRM system, including coordinating user setup, and administration
Maintains association database
Provides research and analysis through CRM and other electronic tools

 
E.  Other Duties as assigned  
Required skills and abilities:

Excellent writing, proofreading and communications skills
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of website design
Knowledge of social media marketing
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to use other office software programs

 
Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or similar
