Overview

You will be a member of our software development team and help us build and deploy various features into our design platform. Later you will help define and develop new products and micro-services from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features for our backend Django Rest Framework backend.
- Improve our Google Cloud Platform CI/CD infrastructure.
- Develop automated test suites using Python
- Design, prototype, and develop SaaS products that run on our test systems
- Learn how to use and integrate generative Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools into our software
- Integrate automated electronic test systems into the FixturFab ecosystem
- Provide mockups, documentation, and API endpoints for a small frontend development team
Work directly with the founders to improve engineering and manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
- You are a python, and in general, an expert backend developer
- You have defined and built multiple backend software projects
- You’ve both developed and consumed API services
- You’ve worked on different stages of product development: coding, testing, bug fixing, and support
- You are collaborative, yet self-directed
- Strong communication skills and comfortable working in a remote environment
- Passion for building cool things
Nice to Have:
- You have created hardware test and automation scripts
- You have firmware experience
- You are familiar with an electronics design package like KiCAD or Altium
- You are familiar with a mechanical design package like Fusion360 or Solidworks
- You are familiar with basic data-science and machine learning libraries
- You have led a team of developers or product development
- You have a four-year degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
