The Senior Data Analyst ensures timely delivery of data, analytics and strategic consulting to support the client’s marketing initiatives, provides direction and manages the work processes and output of a team of data analysts, develops and/or communicates strategy to implement the objectives of the organization and guides others in linking their activities to the objectives. Analyst will evaluate client needs for quantitative analysis, participate in creating and articulating relevant solutions for clients and develop methods or processes for implementation. Leveraging knowledge of SAS and advanced statistical and econometric modeling techniques, analyst will provide guidance to the team.

Education/Work Experience Requirement:

A master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year experience in advanced analytics, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in advanced analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced analytics tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Managing project tasks, timelines and deliverables
    Managing and mentoring junior analysts, contributing to their technical and career development
  • Identifying and developing analytical solutions to client business needs/problems

SME in the following areas: 

  • Predictive statistical models
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using statistical programming language such as SAS, R
    Customer profiling
    Segmentation Analysis
  • Data Analysis and Mining
  • Presentation of ideas and findings to clients
  • Participation in the sales process through solution development and responses to RFPs
  • Management of large, complex analytical projects from start to completion
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to explain/present complicated, advanced analytical methodology and results to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to execute advanced analytic tasks (including but not limited to modeling, segmentation, DOE, forecasting, etc.) and create meaningful analytical outputs
  • Ability to identify areas for statistical innovation and process improvement
  • Ability to translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations and strategies for marketers 
  • Ability to create robust analytics solutions to optimize marketing investments
  • Superior team-building and leadership skills
  • Demonstrates Strategic thinking, vision and foresight to conceptualize new solutions that address core business objectives
