As a Product Line Manager focusing on the Federal and Compliance markets for VMware Cloud, you will define our strategy, roadmap and execution to help meet compliance expectations from our customers on a global scale. Your scope of work will include work in cloud services, public sector, finance, healthcare and insurance delivering certifications including: FedRAMP, GovCloud, DoD IL5, ICD, CNSSI and others. At VMware, we are building the modern hybrid cloud experience for our customers and partners as a cloud service. Our approach from the beginning has been creating customer-focused partnerships with all of the major cloud providers to help create a jointly engineered service offering that has redefined the IT industry. We are looking for an exceptional product management leader to come join our team and lead this industry transition to the modern hybrid cloud (AWS, Google, Azure, Oracle, Alibaba, etc). Our goal is to hire an incredible leader that brings proven background in compliance and the public sector, software as-a-service experience, track record of leading high customer and revenue growth, and experience leading large product management teams. This is a high visibility product management opportunity with global impact in a wide variety of compliance regulations and execution responsibility for specific features required to open regulated markets. You are someone that has a solid understanding of product management with recent experience in compliance environment that can apply your knowledge on a global scale. You will: Define the strategy for privacy, security, and compliance for VMC’s modern hybrid cloud in collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Security and Legal teams. Discover and prioritize customer use cases and define requirements to expand our products to regulated markets. Work with our engineering scrum teams to deliver the right features to address specific compliance use cases. Assist and train our global sales team. You have: 5 years of experience in Product Management or Program Management BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related degree. Experience delivering in large scale cloud, commerce and infrastructure related environments Direct work experience with compliance audits in the last 3 years, including at least 2 of the following: FedRAMP, IL5, ICD, CNSSI, SOC, ISO 27001, PCI DSS. Familiarity with the technical concepts of compliance in public cloud environments including logical access control, secure coding principles, security architecture, network security, and privacy. We’re team players. You’ll do well if you’re one too. For positions located in Colorado: The base salary range is Min $139000 – $250000.
