We’re looking for a senior-level Python Software Engineer, with a passion for solving problems, to join our agile team at OneTrust.



  • Design, develop, and unit test applications deployed to MS Azure and assist with cloud application architecture using Python
  • Achieve at least 80% code coverage for the back end, or per the revised standards set by the team
  • Build quality directly into the engineering processes and solutions through automated testing and test-driven development


  • Lead and participate in the architectural design of features early in the development cycle
  • Work with Product Owners to translate the road map features into management components/tasks, estimate timings, and resources, suggest solutions, and identify possible risk
  • Support the team to ensure all committed stories for the sprint are completed per the sprint goal

Code Review

  • Conduct peer reviews to improve code quality
  • Help junior developers how to follow development testing, exploratory testing, AI testing, and/or test automation


  • Own your code in production, respond to incidents as they occur, and participate in retros to determine how to be better in the future
  • Work towards reducing the total number of defects in the module/product to industry standards by catching and fixing issues early in development
  • Resolve all critical and high-priority security defects in-sprint, or by the guidelines set by the SecOps team


Help build high-performing teams, grow and mentor the technical skills within the team and create development opportunities for them

  • Comfortable collaborating closely with Product Managers and Designers
  • Able to accomplish multiple sophisticated software development tasks with minimal direction
  • A life-long learner – You remain engaged with the latest technology trends and understand operational challenges to continually evolve the application delivery process and platform components
  • You are also self-directed and enjoy autonomy to manage your own schedule and workload
  • Comfortable working with and recommending various software paradigms and design patterns
  • Someone with strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to members across the team
  • Someone who maintains a high awareness of industry issues and trends


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical or business field
  • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • 2+ years of experience developing with Python
  • Robust object-oriented design pattern knowledge and implementation experience using Python
  • Experience with Python frameworks like Django, Flask, and Pandas
  • Experience working with large volumes of time series data and building services, APIs, and applications based of it
  • Experience in designing multi-tier application architecture and distributed caching solutions
  • Experience working with Cloud vendors, particularly with cloud functions – Google, AWS & Azure.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques
  • Experience working with relational/non-relational databases and understanding of storage technologies (like MySQL, Sybase, MongoDB, InfluxDB, Cassandra or HBase)
  • Experience with dev ops tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins
  • Experience with Agile development concepts and related tools


  • Experience working with FastAPI, Pydantic, Gunicorn, Uvicorn, etc.
  • DevOps experience with Azure
  • Experience in Python parallelization/multiprocessing (e.g. Dask) and vectorization
  • Knowledge of Python ML stack: numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, keras, tensorflow, pyspark
