Overview The Software Quality Assurance Analyst is a senior level role responsible for performing software-testing activities, using a variety of testing techniques, applying experience and imagination to ensure that information systems products and services are functioning as expected. They will ensure meeting the end-user requirements, while uncovering risks, in addition to coaching those that are junior to learn and grown within the organization. Responsibilities Execute Risk Base Analysis on application(s) Collaborate with Team to determine Root Cause Analysis for Production/Test Bugs Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to understand product changes or enhancements Create/Execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Reduce and Detect Errors by testing products and reporting defects Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities Participate in Backlog Grooming session Deep working knowledge of most SQA analysis competencies Ability to work independently with updates to project owners and COE Maintain assigned test assets and recognize gaps in current test assets Identifying ways to create needed assets Performs in depth analysis by weighing relevance and accuracy of information to provide alternative solutions with input from all other sources Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology or related work experience 6-10 years Functions in a test lead role as needed for enterprise projects Communicates regularly with Project members and advocates for resolution of high priority problems with Project Sponsor, Delivery Manager and Project Manager Proven ability to asses implications of proposed system changes on the process and factors related to the business Preferred: Negotiation skills with the ability to influence others by education and sharing of data Ability to coach and assist others in advancing their knowledge and skills within specific areas Ability to research, adapt to and maintain awareness of emerging technology Ability to research, adapt to and maintain awareness of emerging technology This job description is designed to provide a general overview of the requirements of the job and does not entail a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that will be required in this position.
