Conduct the development of forecast processes to ensure resources are leveraged with maximum effectiveness, build long-range operating plans to support business initiatives, and drive world class strategic and financial planning methods, in this Senior Financial Analyst opportunity. Put into effect and cultivate data-driven planning processes and improve upon monthly and quarterly reporting. Put your strategic ideas to the test in this pivotal Senior Financial Analyst role, which will allow strategic input to the senior leadership of the company. You will provide strategic analyses and recommendations while being directly involved in the coordination of various planning cycles (quarterly forecasts, monthly outlooks, and annual planning). You will render variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Alpharetta, Georgia area. Responsibilities Collaborate with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process Work together with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation and prioritization Supervise weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting Work in close collaboration with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans Assemble and watch forecasting reports Oversee monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources Evaluate performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities Approve effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support Decipher and resolve internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending Explain monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Finance is required, MBA is preferred 3 years progressive finance experience required Strong familiarity with Monthly Financial Reporting Wide ranging experience with adaptive planning, TM1, Hyperion Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (building macros, financial modeling) Well-founded grasp of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, flash reporting, trend analysis, etc. Strong presentation skills Capability to simplify complex problems and build solutions If you are looking to join a dynamic and growing organization, then this is the role for you.
