Overview:Serves a pivotal role in the oversight, management and implementation of complex application suites and platforms. They oversee and guide the implementation and support of multifaceted application portfolios, requiring extensive knowledge of: hospital operations, clinical processes, industry best practices and systems analysis methodologies. They guide and support teams of other senior architects, systems consultants and systems analysts. The incumbent must be a senior technologist who can lead a team, and possess comprehensive knowledge of hospital operations, systems analysis methodologies, and clinical and business process design. They are knowledgeable in information technology architectures and are involved directly with digital patient access process intake requests, prioritization, and tracking. Their expertise and experience are leveraged to develop solutions that best align with Seattle Children’s organizational priorities for pateint access and virtual care initiatives. Their extensive knowledge in application and technical architectures is essential to the cost-effective implementation and support of complex service solutions.LI-VM1Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience. – Minimum of six (6) years experience in an Information Services environment – Minimum of six (6) years with clinical or hospital systems experience – Minimum of seven (7) years experience and working knowledge of software configuration, testing,and implementation life cycle processes in an enterprise IS environment, to include: – 3-5 years experience and knowledge of project management practices, including project planning and risk/issue management. – Experience in application integration technologies. – Epic certified with a minimum of 3 years Epic applications experience Required Credentials: – Epic certification Preferred: – Pediatric hospital experience -experience within Infromation Systems within Healthcare – At least six (6) years work experience with Epic Hypserspace applications; EpicCare, ClinDoc, Cadence, MyChart. – Experience in virtual care systems and clinical processesOur Commitment to DiversityOur community welcomes diverse experiences, backgrounds, and thoughts as this is what drives our spirit of inquiry and allows us to better connect with our increasingly diverse patients and families.
