Do you want to join a company that delivers innovative life-changing products to patients? We are seeking an energetic, forward-thinking professional to join our Information Technology group in Prague. We are looking to hire a Technical Lead for Python software engineering.

You will have an opportunity to have additional exposure to Cloud (AWS / Azure), Backend (Python, Java) and System integration and develop as a Technical Lead.

Main responsibilities:

Deep understanding and knowledge of engineering and development practices
Provide technical leadership in projects
Own and expand code for existing test tools / solutions
Proficient with Python, ideally with knowledge of additional languages (Java, SQL, Bash, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (ideally Jenkins)

Familiar with:
Version control (Git/Stash/GitHub)
Issue tracking systems (ideally Jira)
DevOps and Infra tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Terraform
Familiarity with SDLC (software development lifecycle) concepts is a plus

AWS specific
Experience with
EC2/RDS/S3
Batch, Lambda /AWS cmdline tools
Ansible/Terraform/CloudFormation

Soft skills
Solid Technical English, able to clearly communicate problems and solutions.
Good analytical, problem-solving, time-management skills
Good interpersonal, communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot and think critically
Negotiate effectively. Able to convince stakeholders of position and reach a consensus.
