We are seeking a talented executive to join our Go-to-Market Digital team in the newly-created role of Vice President, Digital Marketing Technology. This executive will lead the overall strategic direction of the marketing technology team that architects, builds and implements technology solutions to support all our Go-To-Market capabilities. Reporting to the CTO of nVent, you will lead the implementation of strategic digital transformation initiatives globally to modernize and transform our marketing and adjacent enterprise capabilities. You and your team will function as the stewards of marketing technology capabilities, ensuring it delivers delightful customer experiences at all touch points across the customer journey and meets the enterprise standards. You will support the company priority of migrating to cloud-based platforms and be responsible for detailed analysis of the technology landscape. You will build implementation roadmaps to create a cohesive set of go-to-market digital capabilities that offer superior benefits and deliver business value for nVent. WHAT YOU WILL DO Serve as the chief technology solution architect for marketing technology products Create the Platform & Product roadmaps that will enable the deployment of advanced digital marketing capabilities, integrating technologies into viable business capabilities that support our core marketing and growth operations Oversee the plan, build and delivery of a robust and scalable e-commerce infrastructure to support our rapid digital business growth Deploy SEO and SEM tools as necessary to support nVent’s e-commerce goals Evaluate all nVent websites for enhancements, maintenance and increasing adoption on a continuous basis Optimize the web platform architecture and information design for navigation and performance Track trends in website development and e-commerce to stay current with the industry Support the development of the marketing analytics strategy including web and social media analytics, digital marketing attribution, user tracking and other digital marketing KPIs Collaborate with various functions & segments across nVent to ensure capabilities are aligned with business needs. Development of implementation plans & execution of the roadmaps Partner with peers in the growth function to ensure that the marketing technology team is anticipating needs and proactively planning for backlog and roadmaps Deliver marketing technology capabilities and monitor the adoption across the company on a proactive basis Manage vendor engagements and ensure on-time & on-quality delivery of all software Lead integration across digital channels (demand gen, e-commerce, support, channel) YOU HAVE Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred 15 years in IT, Marketing or Digital functional areas; along with 5 years of most recent Digital-focused roles 8 years of leadership experience in IT, Marketing or Digital functional areas Working knowledge of Ecommerce delivery (Salesforce CommerceCloud) Experience in software solutions and marketing platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce.com, Product Information Management (Informatica), Acquia, Coveo & Transperfect Experience with entire digital marketing mix and tactics and how to align with business growth targets and marketing automation processes Proficiency working with Agile Software Development processes to launch new software with high velocity Some functional expertise in a marketing domain & previous experience creating a digital marketing strategy
