The Vice President, Information Technology (IT), will have direct responsibility in the following areas: All aspects of the company’s information technology vision, security, infrastructure, and its execution across the firm. This includes the planning and development of enterprise IT systems in support of company operations that will ensure the highest level of effectiveness with business processes, internal and external constituent experiences, business continuity, and the ongoing achievement of company objectives. Ensuring that the technology roadmap and adoption plans align with COMPANY’s strategic goals and objectives, including identifying and addressing how evolving market dynamics, advanced technology trends and international data and security risk will affect the organization’s infrastructure tools, disciplines and processes. Day-to-day leadership of the technology organization with precision execution and adherence to Internal Controls. Fostering a healthy and balanced partnership with cross-functional constituents within the company as well as vendors and alliance partners outside the organization. Providing forward looking intelligence on the impact of both outsourcing and new trade regulations on the firm, along with proposed action for integration and collaboration with appropriate partners. Taking the lead on all aspects of security; from intellectual property and data to industrial espionage and internal attacks of terror and piracy. With multiple vendors, partnerships and outsourced operations, it is also important to develop a process discipline and certification around the security practices and technology of those external relationships who have access to COMPANY data and technology. Bringing executive perspective to the IT function, incorporating growth, scale, strategic vision and policy. Identifying and delivering technology and business process changes that will reduce the cost and improve the profitability of the business. Ability to manage remote teams across our worldwide structure including recruiting, hiring, training and retaining top IT talent, as required. Report to the Company’s Audit Committee and interact with External Auditors on an as needed basis. Establishing and executing on key performance indicators and scorecards to measure performance across the IT organization and through to the customer experience. Creating and achieving the strategic technology roadmap and communicating with clarity across the organization. Required Skills and Qualifications: 15 years in progressive executive leadership positions in IT across strategy and operations. Preferred experience in a line of business or commercial/customer facing role and M&A integration. Domain experience in manufacturing. Recent experience and tangible body of work in IT security and regulatory business process. BS/BA Information Technology or Engineering; advanced degree and certifications desired, especially MBA or CISSP. Track record of promotions and success in growth-oriented companies, preferably serving in at least one public company with global operations and 1,000 employees. Specific experience setting the vision and transforming IT that may leverage cloud computing, mobility and outsourced vendor relationships. Strong financial acumen and budget management skills. Tangible track record of inspirational leadership and personnel development. Excellent communication skills; ability to present to Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors with confidence and credibility. Strong large-scale project management experience a plus.
