We are looking for a person that can lead our WordPress developers, together with other skilled tech leads. Accelerate your career to the next step, by getting leadership responsibilities and having your own powerful WordPress team backing your ideas and waiting for your direction.
At the same time, you will not have to be exposed directly to customers since we have project managers to communicate with here and project managers will help you to facilitate time management, so you just have to focus on getting the best possible technical solutions to our clients.
This position will work closely with leaders and project managers to ensure our projects meet specified requirements, timelines, and budgets. You will have direct access to the owner, and be able to have a positive and powerful influence on the technical choices we make.
You will be responsible for a team that makes both back-end and front-end development, including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins, as well as site integration and security updates. As a tech lead, one of the main tasks would be to consult, teach and support other WordPress developers.
Key responsibilities:
Designing and building the website front-end from provided design.
Creating the website architecture according to company guidelines.
Designing and managing the website back-end, including database and server integration.
Creating and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins.
Designing and implementing new features and functionalities.
Conducting website performance tests.
Monitoring the performance of the live website.
Testing and troubleshooting the website.
Consult and support Junior WordPress developers.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
Expert-level experience managing a website on the WordPress platform.
Experience with e-commerce, preferably WooCommerce for WordPress.
Knowledge of front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
Good understanding of PHP back-end development.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
Good knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce Database structure (MySQL).
Knowledge of WP-CLI commands.
Knowledge of Git and other code versioning tools.
Experience working with debugging tools.
Strong experience with on-page SEO fundamentals.
Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
Preferable knowledge and experience with LiteSpeed (LSCWP).
Ability to lead and work as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Good English language skills are required.
Salary:
2.400 USD to 4.000 USD per month.
